The current of the Indian Ocean can be quiet tricky at times hence only swim at protected beaches and between the flags in the watch full eyes of the life guards. Those are the beaches that also have shark nets.
Also swimming during the night can be dangerous since the waters of the Indian Ocean are the home to the Great White and Zambezi Sharks - creatures who you do not want to meet in person!
