Camps Bay is another trendy suburb, and one of my favorite places in Cape Town. It's situated on the slopes of an impressive, green mountain range, there's a long white-sand beach, and fantastic cafés and restaurants with a view.
Relax at Camp's Bay. It's an upmarket seaside resort with a few nice restaurants and a lovely sandy beach. In the back are The Twelve Apostles (mountain chain).
You can rent sunbeds, matresses and umbrella's at the beach. There's a open air shower on the beach and clean public toilets.
Definately Camps Bay is THE place to go during the summer. It's the coolest place to be if you want to show off some skin. During December and January you'll be able to see some topless girls sunbathing on its white sands. The water is cold, but then again, if you're use to cold water (as I am), temperature won't be a problem.
Camps Bay beach is another very fashionable beach inhabited by all of Cape Town's beautiful people. There are restaurants across the road, very popular beach for beach sport (volleyball etc).
The beach has the twelve apostles as a backdrop, what more could you want!
The two beaches near Cape Town, they are beautiful, althouh the water is cold (Glenn you ar right), It's FREEZING
Running and walking on the beach.
But remember.........it's freezing cold sand before the sun comes up over Table Mountain. Really it is FREEZING when you run barefoot as i do!
