Well, if you want to enjoy the view but not perspire (or expire) on the way up, you can take the cable car.
A unique view of Cape Town, and the fun of taking the cable car make this place awesome and one of the most popular location of Cape Town

If you like to feel in total awe of the world, then you absolutely have to go to the top of the Table Moutain. There's a little cable car that takes you right on top.

Great views. You can see all of Cape Town from the mountain.
There are also a lot of cute little dassies at Table mountain. Don't try to feed them...they can bite pretty hard.

Go see the Tafelberg (table mountain), called like this because the top is as flat as a table. When it is clouded it looks as there is a table cloth on top of the table.
