This is basically a B&B guesthouse, but the inn offers also a pub and a -locally well known- restaurant. As we came on a Sunday there was only a choice between fried calamaris and fish & chips, but even these simple dishes were made with care and tasted delicious! Be sure to reserve your table in advance, as their capacity is very limited, so we were told.
Not quite sure what I expected to find here, maybe some stuff that was locally produced, but most of the stuff they sell in the deli is from Stellenbosch, Franschhoek or other places. I found that a bit of a letdown. Still they sell some very nice things here. The garden area is the restaurant/bistro area and it looked like a lovely place to sit down and relax.
Situated at the donkey sanctuary, this place provides the ideal opportunity to just sit back and relax and enjoy the tranquility that surrounds you.
