Like Lobster is to sea food lovers 'Ostrich Steak' captures the taste of red meat connoisseurs. With its low cholesterol content and sought after flavour it is served at Highgate.

The Ostrich egg which feeds 20 people can be tasted together with Ostrich Pat? & Biltong (traditional dried meat).

Local wines are served and our world famous farm choir entertains all clients with traditional songs while enjoying their meal.

Pretty lively bar with nice courtyard and live music (can be a bit variable). Watch out for lots of flying moths and bugs attracted by the lights.
I must be under some sort of curse with this place because I've been there twice and both times it has rained. Everybody dashed under the cover of the terrace or inside except the musicians who were protected by an archway - they just carried on.
