Long Lines Going to Robben Island
Not surprisingly, there are long lines in the station from which the ferry leaves for Robben Island.
I took the 1 PM ferry ride, and there was utter confusion at the station and it did not seem that there was a line at all. Some people were getting mad (and shouting) because the lines were very disorganized and the employees did not seem to be very polite - as they were confused themselves. I am not sure if this is an everyday occurence, or it just happened on the day I was going to the island.
And as I have told our VT Customer Relations (beautiful and always friendly Stephanie), I just occupied my waiting time by chatting away with the nice UK family beside me...in that way, the time flies past quicker. Hehehe...
But even though, the long lines are worth the wait because Robben island is an incredible experience you won't forget...lots of history and a great ferry ride...
