A three-hour trip by tractor to the summit of the mountains, with a wonderful South African lunch afterwards.
The tractor trips on Protea Farm have become a legend as a tourist attraction in South Africa since 1985. The trip provides loads of fun for everyone, as well as birds´ eye views of the Breede River- and Koo Valleys. After the ride to the summit of the Lange berg mountains, a brief pit stop is made where muscadel and dried fruit is served. Then a typical farmhouse potjiekos delight awaits the tractor passengers at the end of this enthralling 3-hour excursion.
Protea Farm is situated in the Koo Valley 29km outside Montagu on the R318 and driving time is ± 30 minutes.
There is a fuffy slide which is great fun for kids & adults alike
