Sun City is the biggest trap of all. It´s Las Vegas in Africa. If you have a lot of money and don´t know how to spend it all, maybe this is the place for you. Otherwise, just don´t go there!
The markets in South Africa are a little touristy, but the artwork is gorgeous.

Cape Point - do yourself a big favour and avoid buying anything from the shops - very expensive!

Buying a wood carved giraffe statue next to the road... pretty much standard carry-on for tourists leaving the country.
Excellent trained thiefs are changing the touristy Cape point into a 'Watch out' area for all visitors:hold on to your sunglasses, photocams and don't start eating fruits! :)
