ATLC Says: The hotel management warned not to walk the streets after dark (which is at about 18.00 hrs!) due to crime. Don't take the chance and drive, even if it's only a 10 minute walk.

The place White River is not that mentionable. But it was a good base during our 3 day stay, to explore Kruger Park and other sights in Mpumalanga.
