mud, dung and water would be puddled together, and then shaped into bricks. They would be left drying in the sun until sufficient quantities were prepared to be fired . After being stacked up, the bricks would be covered with a mud coating and the wood inserted and , set fired to. The kiln will burn for several days and then the outer mud coating will be removed and the now red baked bricks will be ready to be removed for constructing houses.
The process will soon disappear to some extent as moves are being made to reduce the use of wood and introduce gas as the means of combustion
