Bulembu Local Customs

I just dont kow where to start. This is place which was a paradise to many people from Sd and other neighbouring countries.

This is the place which gave birth to many heroes and sheroes who were unfortunately not celebrated in theri cuntry of origin.

I've spent infanrt and toddler years in this place. when anyone spoke about Bulembu in the olden days, you'll feel pride and hounor to be part of this little isolated beautiful palce.

when talking soccer stars who were made by this place and even seen their career taken to new hieghts in the 80's, one will definetelt remember Absalom scara Thindwa, Hazekeil Silenge. These players were palyed their soccer in one of the biggest league in the world, PSL then NSL in South afirica. They both played for Kaizer chiefs and orlando pirates respectively.

In all school competions, name it soccer, netball, choirs, Bulembu was among the best. People in this part of the world were living the same life people are living in places like Johannesburg. It is one places where you'll find people from Malawi, Mozambique and Swazis living side by side in harmony. Xenophobia was non existing word in their vocab.

when i look at my infant photos my eyes are feeled with tears and unexpalanable agony. who would have thought that Bulembu would the home of orphans. People in Bulembu were opulent in their own right.

I owe my being to this litttle lovely place. I salute the angels of God who came to revive the spirit of Bulembu. I give praise to all those who made it theier mission to rebuild Bulembu.
