The place to meet other travelers in Arusha, Mac's Patisserie is a bakery, restaurant and internetcafe.
The internet connection is fast and cheap (but can't remember how much exactly) and the food is very tasty, but unlike the internet it isn't fast... expect to wait 45 minutes.

An auto spares shop that at night is converted into a restaurant that serves grilled meat (chicken tika, beef, mishikaki, sheesh kebab, mutton), freshly baked bread (and nan), tasteful sauces and good salads.
Great atmosphere: the restaurant is loved by the locals, who gather there every evening, solo you'll not feel as being in a tourist trap.
No alcohol served.
