Bob Marley still lives! Want an exotic cold drink or just an ice-cold beer. Want to Chill Out? This is the place. The large bar is open on all sides and the bar stools are buried in the sand. Padded benches and tables are also available. Service is friendly and inquisitive. When they ask how your day was, they want details! The guys are superb and will teach you the local board game and tell you anything you want to know about life on Zanzibar. The Reggae music fits well with the tropical weather and creates a mellow atmosphere.
The bar also offers:
A great big hammock
A book Library
Snacks
Cold drinks
Beach side views
The occasional beach fire at night
Enjoy!
Dress Code:
Come as you are. Even if you stay at another hotel, drop in for a drink and then walk the beach back to your room.

It is an absolute shame that I was unable to take a picture of the stars, but any picture would not do this sight justice. Jambiani is not plagued by light pollution, so the views of the stars every night are breathtaking. If you walk down the beach away from any hotel, you will see an almost limitless panorama of stars and planets. Be careful though! There is a lot of natural debris on the beach. Your best bet is to walk along to a quite and dark part of the beach and then have a seat. The view can be quite mesmerising. There is a very good chance you will not see this fantastic a star show anywhere in the world. Enjoy!

The 2 most striking features of Jambiani are THE ROAD and THE BEACH. About 7000 people live here and the road is the centre of activity. It stretches about 3 miles, north to south. You get to Jambiani...
