There are 2 Dalla Dallas that serve Jambiani. One is the 309 which is decorated with its support of Arsenal football club. The other, whose number I cannot remember, supports Liverpool. If you want to go to Stone Town the Dalla Dalla leaves before 6am and only goes once a day. Costs are pennies. 100-200 shillings for local areas.
I don not know if this information will help you because they are always overloaded, even with people sitting on the roof! The one time I found one with room, it was stopping for the day!
I think Dalla must be the word for dangerous as they always say it twice. They are interesting to watch, but I wouldn’t want to travel in one farther than the village.
