Stunning landscapes...

Throughout the Kilimanjaro region, there are some stunning landscapes, especially with the setting sun, when the light turns to gold and even the dust that gets kicked up looks beautiful.The colours of Massai country really lend in to the amazing scenery, with Kilimanjaro on one side and Mt Meru on another... For the first few days of our trip, i could barely see the big mountain since there was much cloud cover. Then the day before we were to leave, the clouds suddenly lifted and the sight of Kilimanjaro - right there in front of you- was quite special.
