When you climb Kilimanjaro, the night arrives early (around 6:30 or 7) and once it gets dark there's not a whole lot to do except eat dinner, get cleaned up and go to sleep (preceded, of course, by some stargazing in the amazingly clear night-time skies; wrap up well, since it gets very cold after dark!).

However, if you're feeling like a small celebration on the way down, some of the ranger huts, such as that at Millennium Camp, have cold beer and soft drinks; although they are pricy, they might be just the way to finish the Kilimanjaro hike!

Dress Code: The dress code at Millennium camp is whatever grubby clothing you've been wearing all week; the great thing about mountainside drinking is the casual attire!

I see all!

Normally I will sit and watch the other foreign teams arriving into the camp and make comments on their accents. If I feel like i want to have a bit of fun i will chase the big crows around the camp...that is all.

Dress Code: I normally wore long johns and walking socks, you must be wearing a bandana.
