All of Pemba seems to be off the beaten track

Find somewhere on the map, hire a bicycle and ride there. It's the best way. I'm not into cycling holidays myself, but riding through some of the villages, stopping to buy papaya, coconuts, and tea from villagers and continuing through cool coconut groves and clove plantations was something I never wanted to come to an end.
