    Warehouses like this are very nice to see. They transmit some kind of old times I cant really explain that feeling. A must I say! You can fing them all over the town centre. remember Kuntaur is a port town so expect lots of these warehouses that might be full of groundnuts to export.

    This is the way to the town centre. Is strange how its so tiny and hidden. I passes with the car on this tiny street and almost didnt make it. I was actually getting worried about it, but all went well.   • Shadow in Mango tree

    There are so many mango trees in Gambia. You'll find them everywhrere you go. Its a tropical country. very good for mosquitoes remember take your malaria programe.This is on the town centre and suuaalyhas a couple of ladies selling mangoes at a really cheap price.

  • Walk on the town

    You can just walk on the town. This is a very tiny town and relaxed one. You have nothing much going on and you'll see everyone chiling, eating mangoes and getting a bit of shade on the mango trees.on the picture you have the street where almost all the grociery stores are located. During the lunch they are closed, only that one was kept open.

  • Palm trees and lakes

    Here's one of the typical view and landscape of this side of the river: the north bank is very rich in water. You can notice the diversity of vegetation and lots of palm trees giving a tropical look to the whole picture. Gambia is very good to get Malaria due to the large amount of mosquitoes that use the water and the river as way of developement.

Kuntaur Off The Beaten Path

  • Inside town river

    This is the river inside the town. Its very easy to mosquitoes to grown here due to the large amount of places with small lakes, rivers and water. You can see children near the river. they bath there. and also they put their bathroom dejects to the rivers, and they can also bath on the river...arg!
