Favorite thing: All around the lodge grounds there were monkeys scampering from tree to tree and scattering as soon as you approached. There was a troop of them living in the vicinity and they would appear every day.

Favorite thing: As everywhere else in Africa, it is the children who leave the lasting impression. I love their cheeky innocence and their ready smile, despite the fact that they have so much less then us.

Favorite thing: David has a great passion for lizards, iguanas and geckos, so he was having a field day here. The lodge grounds was full of them, and they were fairly unafraid too, obviously used to human visitors.
