Well, there is a crocodile pit somewhere! (Can't remember) I went in it, and was told afterwards they have over 100 crocs in there! Hmm, I am glad I wasn't on the menu!
There are so many little villages and things to see, but nothing of definate name. It is best to hire a bike and go with the flow.
Befriend a teenager of the same gender as yourself and let them take you around. You may miss many tourist sights but you will get to see inside schools, how to shop and cook local food.
Try and visit the Batik Market which is near to Serakunda - very reasonable priced table cloths and drapes etc and wood carvings Make sure you go with an offical guide
Try and see some of the local entertainment - I saw one at Paradise Beach and a guy swallowed a snake which was incredible!
Visit a Gambian School - be prepared to be asked for pens and paper (see below)
