Hair braiding is pretty cheap here too...something like $5 for about 5 hours of work...can't remember specifics though
The markets are the place to be to bargain.Local wood craft and the famous djembee are great.Do compare and do not buy before having compared prices.
Here you can see a 'batik factory'. (or something like that) They make beautiful colored materials with little comfort.
