To go to Wassu from Georgetown, you have at least 20km separating. Wassu is located abit after Kuntaur. You have to take a ferry to the north bank division from Georgetown. 1000CFA
by law, tourists have to pay boats and ferries in the country not with national currency but with CFA.
On hte picture you can see my car on the boat.

Maybe if you can get a rented bicycle somewhere in Georgetown, offer some money to someone in the hotel to get you a bike, and they will. You can get there only making 20km on dirt road. is ok 40km on a bicycle.
You have to get the boat to the north bank.
On the picture you have the pic of the entrance of the boat from Georgetown to Lamin Koto. 1000CFA

You can get to Wassu from Kuntaur by taxi, maybe paying about D200 round trip.
Wassu is located 20km northwest from Georgetown on the north bank of the river gambia.
On the picture you have the red higway on the gambian north bank.
