Wassu Warnings Or Dangers

The diver of this lorry got out of his cab near the top of the hill, in order to take a pee. Either he didn't apply the hand brake properly, or it failed, but the result was that the lorry started to roll backwards, gaining speed as it went.

There were two problems with this:

1. Three people were travelling on the roof of the cab - fortunately they managed to jump to safety.

2. The lorry would soon be totally out of control, and it was a very long hill. It was fully laden and could easily turn over.

Some very brave people ran over to the runaway lorry, placing stones underneath its back wheels. It took a great many stones, and a lot of courage by the local men, to finally stop the lorry.

And we could all start breathing again.
