We stopped in Serekunda on the way inland and later into Senegal, so this seemed a good place to change money into Senegales currency. Our guide, Urbain, just called someone over, who walked across with a bag full of money. Black market. It wouldn't have worked in England, he would have been robbed before he crossed the road. The police didn't seem to be the least bit perterbed by all these black market transactions taking place. We didn't even have to get out of the van.
