Sports Events in Prefecture de Lome

I was pleasantly surprised to find these activities available during my time in Togo. There were quite a few kite surfers and surfers out on the ocean, jet skiing and windsurfing was mainly on the lagoon.

For the beach: From Hotel Sarakawa head towards Benin. When you see the sign for the Port Autonome de Lome, head right under it instead of veering left on the main road. Just after going under the sign, there is a dirt road on the right with a sign you can't miss. Follow that dirt road to the end.

For Lac Togo: From Lome, head in the direction of Aneho. Look for signs to Hotel de Lac. The sailing club is just to the right of the hotel.

Equipment: There is a surfboard and boogie boards to rent at Cristal Plage. Kite surfing gear, I'm not sure about. Might need your own.

Jetskis, sailboats and windsurf equipment can be rented at the Sailing Club at the Hotel de Lac on Lac Togo.
