China Town: Strange but true
I have to say i find it kinda weird to have a Chinese restaurant in a west african country, but it's True. Meanwhile it's the same old delicious chinese food, and again the place is owned by a chinese guy who is always there, which puts u more in the mood of china town.
Favorite Dish: my old favorite chicken and shrimps sweet and sour.
Hibiscus: another french restaurant
small french restaurant, the owner is himself the chef, and with his wife are always around asking about the food, very friendly
Favorite Dish: For your information: steak Tartar is a dich of Raw minced meat, a french delicacy but definitly not my favourite dish
Okavango: the nicest
it's simply the nicest restaurant in Lome, u can choose to sit indoors (very nicely decorated) our outdoors where u have small deers and birds roaming around. the food is great, the frensh lady who owns the place is extremly hospitable and the staff is very friendly
Le Maxime: Not quite the Maxim's in Paris, but!!!
Very friendly atmosphere, just across the road from the beach.Reasonably cheap with fresh fish most days almost straight from the sea! Antelope is also a speciality.
Favorite Dish: I really enjoyed the "capitaine" braised on the grill, various vegetables fresh from the garden next door, plus the fresh beer served in frosted glasses.
Okavango: Best restaurant of Lomé
In a nice open terrasse, some springs and fontains, some deers and antelopes are going from table to table. You sit at ta nice wooden table with flowers all around you.
The menu is fantastic. French food with a touch of exotic African dishes and spices.
Favorite Dish: Captain fish in cream sauce
Frog legs Provencale
Duck stuffed with olives
Good French wine
Market stalls: Tea
Favorite Dish: This little bundle of roots is added to hot water to make a drink which doesn’t taste unlike mint tea. It has lots of curative properties so it’s said to be very good for you.Related to:
