Like all the troglodytic villages in the area, Douiret en Nessara has been cut out of the hillside and all the houses have this very same yellowish colour.
It's just a single lane following the mountain curves.
Nowadays, the village is pretty much abandoned, only the tiny white moque is still a bit maintained (some minor restauration works have even been mane a couple of years ago) and is the only point visible from a distance.
