As for ceramics designs range from the traditional ones (inspired by the decorations on the typical Tunisian ceramics, normally blue and white) to brighter Berber ones.
What to pay: carpets: small ones about 20-30 dinars, ceramics: about 10-15 for large plates
Lots of shops
What to buy: Many souvenir shops selling carpets and all manor of local product. There is also a cool music shop and some great places for local snacks. Well worth a look.
