There is very little public transport between Tozeur and the oasis towns of Tamerza, Mides and Chebika. Most people travel in 4W drives as part of a tour though we had our own car. The road from tozeur crosses the Chott El Gharsa, a dry salt lake. This wasn't as big or as impressive as Chott El Jerid which we had crossed a few days earlier but some of the scenery was still fantastic. We saw more wildlife, in particular large groups of camels.
