Every ten minutes or so, trains leave from Tunis central Station (Place de Barcelone) for its southern suburbs, running through Rades, Ez-Zahra, Hammam Lif and on to Borj Cedria. All of these have beaches of sorts, but Hammam Lif seems to be the best one to visit. Tickets cost 0.580TD each way, and can be bought from the Banlieue Ticket stand to the left as you enter the central station.
