Fondest memory: Entebbe is a city of 75000 citizens on the northern shores of Lake Victoria in Uganda. It is also the city of the main airport in Uganda. The capital Kampala is about 45 minutes drive away from Entebbe. The distance is 35 km. Entebbe had the government for the Protectorate of Uganda, prior to Independence in 1962.
The streets in Entebbe are clean with large residents along the streets. Many of them houses businessmen, government employees, ministers and people of importance.

Favorite thing: We stop at a fruit market to buy some mangoes and pineapple to eat on the journey. Neither is really suitable to consume in the car, as they both require a knife to prepare, but we can always have it in the room. The vegetables and fruit are very nicely displayed; I am fascinated by some very large jack fruit, the largest tree borne fruit in the world. It can grow up to one metre long and weigh 40kg. Inside the shell, the fruit tastes similar to banana, having removed the numerous seeds. It is either eaten raw, boiled, fried or as a vegetable in a stew or curry.
