Crater Valley Kibale Resort Beach Lodge

Crater Valley Kibale Forest Resort Beach Lodge, is 21 km from Ft Portal & 10 km from Kanyanchu visitors centre in Kibale Forest Nat'l Park. The lodge sits on the tranquil Lake Nyabikere , Our self-contained rooms have hot/cold running water as well as flush toilets and showers.

Location:
Western Uganda at the edge of Kibale Forest Nat'l Park. Disembark at RWETEERA Trading Centre . CVK is in a real village, on the shores of L. Nyabikere , 13 miles (21km) or 30 minutes drive S. of Fort Portal Town on the Kamwenge Road. CVK is mostly famous for its clean, picturesque lake/hills and the presence of 12 species of primates in the nearby Kibale tropical rain forest, eg. chimps, monkeys and baboons. There are also, elephants and very many interesting birds including the very rare Green Breasted Pitta.

Accommodation/Campsite:
CVK offers fine accommodation in attractively grass-thatched, ecological bandas . Our newly constructed Self contained rooms are now open. The terraced campsite , covered by a soft carpet of ever-green grass, overlooks the blue and tranquil lake. The ‘bandas’ are set out singly and well spaced out among broad-leaved evergreen trees. These bandas provide the wanted coolness and real privacy for rest. Mosquito Nets provided
