Tree Climbing Lions

I didn't believe Lions could climb trees. Or at least I thought they may just walk up a small dead tree trunk slightly higher than the ground...................
But these Lions were right up the tree, high up in the branches, lying there with legs dangling either side. I didn't see them get up the tree but we parked the Land Rover (open top!) right underneath the tree and looked up to see 3 lions up above our heads. Scary.
Ishasha is famous for it's tree climbing lions and I believe the only other place they do this is in Selous in Tanzania.
It's a beautiful remote corner of Queen Elizabeth National Park, on the border with Democratic Republic of Congo, with the Ishasha river which is full of hippo and many antelope including Topi.
