Fondest memory: I spend a lot of time swaning around markets, and this market in Soroti although not so big was a typical Ugandan market with all the usual fruit and veg. Soroti being a bit on the dry side has less in the way of prouce as the greener town of Mbale down the road.
I actually did buy a couple of samosas from one of the young girls selling them in the photo. I thought it only right to do so after taking their photo. And mighty fine samosas they were too!

Soroti does sometimes rock especially now that it can boast its own Night Club. The locals here seem to be well chuffed that they now have Trends disco in town, which is open on Friday and Saturday......
