Getting Around Soroti District

Getting around in Soroti is easy! There are hundreds, if not more, boda boda drviers. A boda boda is an ancient looking bike with a flashy cushion affixated over the back wheel. Women ride side-saddle, while men ride normally. They will take you any where within a 10 minutes cycling radius.... Be careful, they love to rip you off. You should never pay more than 500 shillings, average ride cost 200 shillings.... (20-50 cents). And be careful they understand where it is that you want to go. Sometimes they have no clue what you are saying and drive you around in loops just getting you frustrated and irritated and then expect you to pay them!!! If you are with friends they love to race, especially if it's your first time riding. Racing is so much fun! Falling off hurts!
