Border Morocco Mauritania

by johnsakura

Border closes from 6pm to 8:30am If you come here you have to make sure you dont pass these times. the border in north morocco never closes but this one here has this special schedule. when i was coming from mauritania to morocco (western sahara) for the first time i had to sleep on the mauritnian side cos the border here was closed. and it didnt make any sense of leaving the police protection area durgin night time in a very dangerous are where we could be killed.

No petrol stations between many kms!

by johnsakura

from dakhla to bir guendouz (aprox. 400km) you only have one petrol station that sometimes can be out of gasoline or diesel.this is located i think 80 or 180 (hehehe sorry about the 100km difference) from bir guendouz!! take enough to reach Nouadhibou.

police control in each city....

by dandiver

police control in each city. Specially in Dahkla. They will required your passport. If you don't want to spend a lot of time in each police control, put few money into your passport, but don't do it in a military control, just only in police controls!.
