you can get to Chisamba by public transport on a bus from lusaka,but its best to have your own car that can allow you to see many places.Public transport to Chisamba cost about £2.00 or k17,000.00 in local currency.If you want a nice family outing theres the FRINGILA FARM it has lost of play area for kids most of all it has its own butchery meaning you can buy and barbque right away.

Favorite thing: Though its a few miles from lusaka chisamba has its own beauty ranging from farms,hotels,churches.post office,banks.The local people are very friendly and ready to learn a lot from new comers.i live in the uk in norwich and spend about 5 months of the year in chisamba.

Favorite thing: take dollars in hard cash, the money machines at the banks dont always work and the cambio is a mess.....zambians love to see the hard cash....try not to flash it around though and avoid getting ripped off

Chisamba is a very small zambian village about 40km from Lusaka, give or take.....the Solipse festival was held here in 2001, to celebrate the total eclipse of the sun...beautiful people from all...
