Nsebe is 20 minutes drive from Ndola. It is a unique resort in the region, having been managed for 9 years by a couple of South Africans.
In the middle of a giant park of 1500 Ha, you can enjoy a weekend in the middle of the nature.
They maintain many wild animals, and you can fish and relax in the green area.
Lots of cabins, chalets, camping areas, also tents with luxury furniture.
Food is excellent is made of local production of fish farming, pig and beef farming, sometimes wildlife meat.
You enter the restaurant and you directly feel in Italy. Walls are nicely decorated in a Quattrocento style, with the typical colors of Firenze or Sienna.
Many statues and paint copied from Michelangelo (of course) complete the decoration.
The meals are at a normal rate for a restaurant for international customers and the numerous expatriatesworking in the Copperbelt.
The menu is typical of an Italian restaurant outside Italy: many different pastas and pizzas, and some local beef accomodated with Italian sauces.
Favorite Dish: Nothing particular, but it is supposed to be the best restaurant in town.
The wine is medium quality, importated from South Africa. Beers are local but excellent (Mosi and Rhino)
Ndola is the main town of the Copperbelt. As a tourist in Zambia, you won't find anything interesting in the region, fully dedicated to the mining and smelting of Copper.
Fondest memory: However, Ndola is a well developped area thanks to the very old business of copper extraction. You can find a lot of stores among which a large general store with all the products of South Africa, restaurants, bars, clubs, golf, pools, fishing, hunting...
If you come to Zambia, it is not necessary to visit the Copperbelt Province.
Of course there are nice place, but everything is focused on the mining of copper very present in the whole region.
Fondest memory: However, the area is very well developped and you will find anything you need. They have large general stores as well as restaurants, bars and clubs, golf, pools, etc.
