Fondest memory: With a population of 3,5 mill. people, Lusaka is considered to be one of the fastest growing cities in Africa. It's a city with both gravel roads and bitumen roads, dilapidated houses with flat corrugated roof and modern concrete buildings. The pavements are in use for street sellers.

Favorite thing: This town is really confusing... The 2nd city in the world where I've managed to get lost (the 1st was New York). Go&visit the university!!!
Fondest memory: I found really great friends in Lusaka&in Zambia in general, they treated me like a member of their family.

Fondest memory: Lusaka is the capital and the largest city in Zambia. The population is 3,5 mill. people. But it is a city of low buildings. The exception is some few buildings around Cairo road in downtown.

Fondest memory: Most of the banks and many money change offices can be found along Cairo Road. The exchange rate was slightly lower than the rate in Livingstone. 1 USD was 4700 Kwacha (August 2009).
