Fondest memory: With a population of 3,5 mill. people, Lusaka is considered to be one of the fastest growing cities in Africa. It's a city with both gravel roads and bitumen roads, dilapidated houses with flat corrugated roof and modern concrete buildings. The pavements are in use for street sellers.

Fondest memory: Lusaka is the capital and the largest city in Zambia. The population is 3,5 mill. people. But it is a city of low buildings. The exception is some few buildings around Cairo road in downtown.

Money change offices in Lusaka

Fondest memory: Most of the banks and many money change offices can be found along Cairo Road. The exchange rate was slightly lower than the rate in Livingstone. 1 USD was 4700 Kwacha (August 2009).
