Arcades Shopping Mall contains two places where you can party, Times Café and Rhapsody. Both places has a high-end and classy clientele with nice waitresses. But this is not a typical place for ordinary local people.

Johnny's is one of my favorites. It's got a great dance floor built over the indoor pool (I know... very strange). The bar is run by some friendly Chinese and is pretty inexpensive. It's well known in the expat community and attracts a fun crowd - especially the ladies.

For true African hooker-bar experience, visit Alpha Bar in Lusaka. It's a dump - plain and simple - and full of working gals, but definitely worth checking out, even if purely for the circus-act atmosphere. The drinks are cheap and music isn't bad, but the crowd is definitely sketchy and the neighborhood outside can be dodgy at night.

Chain Irish pub, with huge selection of drinks, although pricey. Satillite TV, so you can catch up with all the sport. Friendly waiters. One of the only places in Lusaka where you can drink out of proper pint glasses.

An absolute legend in Lusaka which everyone who drinks and/or seeks nightlife has wandered out of in some level of intoxication at one time or another. It's the one place you're assured of that will be pupming every night of the week where you can get your fix of alcohol, dancing, pool, music, ladies of the night etc.

Brown Frog has a lot to offer, especially with music. It's a lively spot with a lot interest from among locals and, like pretty much every nightspot, is cheap.

One of Lusaka's best R&B clubs. Always packed with a good crowd of people until dawn. Very good DJ's playing the best mix of R&B.
