The Manda Hill shopping center was opened in the late 1990's. In most other countries of the World Manda Hill would be just a small/middle-size shopping mall, but in Zambia it's THE shopping center. Manda Hill has a couple of department stores/grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and smaller shops. This is one of the places to find an ATM in Lusaka.

On the weekends, the parking lot in front of Arcades shopping Mall hosts a large number of local crafts sellers. You can find pretty good deals on general Africrap (masks, wood carvings, etc...) There's also some textile stuff if that's your thing. Make sure you bargain.
