6 beers each and they locked the door by ecoquester have a laugh, we pulled in here to streach our legs, found the door open in the night club and believe this, they had an oil fired fridge with cold beer in it..... well that was us, we consumed every last bottle of beer they had and the barman said he wouldn't be able to open that night coz it would take 2 days for them to get more beer!!

Hottest place in town by Saagar The Times is a flashy night spot, more a club than a bar or disco at the one end of the Archades plaza. Quite fancy with lights and all. Loud music, the place is good for a drink, a dance, but not for a conversation. Not that conversations seemed to be high on the agenda of the main clientele, the upper crust of locals and followers. Nice place, though, happy to hang out there for the after-restaurant Mosi.
Yeah, somewhat more fancy than your cap and work outfit. Dress for the purpose and signal you will give. You will get attnetion if you want to. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: Archades

Poodle-Pointer attacks Lizard by Bwana_Brown Luanshya had quite a number of discos for your evening entertainment. Every weekend there was a dance at either the Golf, Rugby, Cricket or Tennis Club. There were also numerous African bars where the typical music of Central Africa was blared out - it has a great beat! I actually met my future wife at a Saturday night dance at the Horticultural Club in Luanshya! However, since I did not normally take my camera to nightclubs, you will have to settle for a photo of my poodle-pointer, Waldo, making a valient attempt to catch an agama lizard on the grounds of the Zambia Institute of Technology! By the way, Waldo was the most amazing dog that I ever met! He turned up at my flat on the campus one evening during a rain storm - so I let him in and fed him. It turned out that he picked his own 'master' as various people rotated through the campus! He stayed with me for most of my stay in Zambia, waiting outside my classes, coming with me for downtown shopping (without a leash) - he truly knew what he was doing! He was not a dog that barked unnecessairily, but he did wake me up in the flat one night when someone was trying to steal my car outside! Toward the end of my stay in Zambia, he swung his affections over to my Danish mate Torben as my presence became less frequent due to my meeting Susan!

O'Hagan's Irish Pub, 'where good friends meet', is part of a chain of Afro-Irish theme pubs. It has had some recent press because Mwanawasa's daughter's cell phone was stolen there a few weeks ago. Guinness

This place is a good time if you're 40-90, bored and living in Ndola. An ex-pat's old boy's club. The annual meeting is a good time - you'll be lucky if your time your trip to coincide with this yearly fiesta. This is also a good place to catch malaria, because it's right by the water. On the Booze Cruise by TracyG The fact that you can drink as much as you like for the handsome sum of 15US$ is of course the main attraction. this includes all the Zambezi Lager that you can drink!! plus certain spirits (vodka and gin being two) and also a certain amount of wine. Also food is included to soak it all up with (pasta being the staple food.) And of course, there is the fact that you are on the Zambezi so there is scenery to look at as well - that is if you can see it of course.........
Absolute anything goes, though not your Gucci outfit, as you do get pretty plastered - literally!!!! Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and DrinkingDirections: Most lodges or campgrounds will have information about this, and it can be booked from the Zimbabwean side as well.

Well, there's Pete's in Lusaka, Zambia on Friday nights. It's got a couple of pool tables, and it gets really jumping from 11 o'clock onwards until 3. (Sometimes later, from what I've heard.) Check to see if Lovemore is still tending bar, and tell him Rob, from Project San Francisco said hello. Tip him generously, and he will tip the bottle generously. You're checked for weapons at the door. There's a small outdoor section, and indoors has a restaurant and pool, and a dj, and a large enough dance floor. There's a nice mix of ex-patriates, Zambians, and visitors to the countries. The place is safe. The hookers are aggressive, so mind yourself!
Anything shy of nudity goes. Leave a Comment Theme: DancingDirections: Pete's is one block from where Cairo Road intersects with Great North Road, virtually in the shadow of the ZRA (Zambian Revenue Authority) building. An absolute legend in Lusaka which everyone who drinks and/or seeks nightlife has wandered out of in some level of intoxication at one time or another. Its one place you're assured will be pumping every night of the week where you can get you fill of drinks, music, dancing, pool, ladies of the night etc. Leave a Comment Theme: DancingDirections: Northmead, Lusaka
