The easiest way to get to the falls is to take a taxi from the town center. The prices are affordable, when you know what you're doing. Negotiate the price before getting in the taxi. Don't take the first price that's offered.

There are several buses between Lusaka and Livingstone every day. The buses leave when they are full, so there really is no exact schedule. Just go to the bus station and ask for prices and how full the bus is. A company called C.R. Holdings has good buses and the ticket costs 55.000 K.

We flew with Nationwide from Johannesburg to Zambia. This is probably the most convenient connection since Nationwide operates two daily flights (three on Sunday) between the South African hub and Livingstone. There service is exceptional and their crew is one of the best in Africa. A full warm lunch and bar service is provided and on our return flight a warm dinner was served. With connecting flights from London they can be also conveniently used for travellers from Europe.
