Victoria Falls

by kismet270

Looking over the falls, a magnificent experience. Try and see it from the Zambian side, not only does it cost less than from the Zimbabwian side, the view is also much better. My fondest memory of Zim would have to be Chipangali animal orphanage. I saw the smallest black Rhino EVER! didn't know they came so small. It was so cute!

GET AIR SICK??

by safardreams

It may be a little more money. But if you cando your safaris by taking a plane from parkto park. From VIC FALLS, it was only a 2 hourride to HWANGE PARK. That we did. But, from there to CHIZARIRA PARK we took a plane. The place was so dry. We had a goodshot at some ELEPHANTS already!! It's elephants in the WILD!!

WATER ALL THE TIME!

by safardreams

VICTROIA FALLS as everyone knows is amust. When you go there have something to protect your camera. There is water sprayingall around. Just a thought, what I did. I tookwith me some plastic-baggies. I cut a holein the bottom for the lens. If needed to I cut a hole near the zip-lock for the view finder. Itworked out find. It's easy and quick. VIC-FALLS is one of the best things. Peopleask all the time if I seen it. There so many things in these countries!!

The market place

by duke0123

As in many other countries visiting a local market is always interesting. This market place, under the beautiful Jacaranda trees, is nothing else.People are selling vegetables, fruit and other useful things.Walk around, watch how the sellers sell and how the buyers buy.

Mother and child

by duke0123

During a game drive in Rhodes Matopos National Park you can see some rocks stacked on each other. The 'nick name' of these rocks are mother and child. This name is given to the rocks because from a distance they have the shape of a mother who is looking after her child.

The purple colour of the Jacaranda

by duke0123

When I left the airport of Harare the first thing of Zimbabwe I saw was a beautiful purple tree: the Jacaranda. The flowering time of this tree is October and you could see that. In Harare and all over Zimbabwe you can see the purple glow of these trees.A very beautiful view.
