We bought some cushions slopes, a bed cloth and a table cloth.

I like the smooth shiny forms from the first time I saw an exhibition in the Netherlands.
At the moment there are several galleries in Europe selling the Zimbabwean sculptures.
Some sculptors visit workshops abroad.
In Harare and many other cities there is a lot of choice of all kind of sculptures: cheap, expensive, heavy or very heavy, amateur- and professional work, tiny or huge ..... choice for everybody

Forget the antiques (unless you live locally) - the crafts and the candy made in Harare are what caught my eye. And of course by the time you get here, a cold drink and snack will seem like a really good idea.
Everything seems cheap given the dreadful inflation. While items might cost a bit more here than directly from teh crafter, the shopkeeper has done all the work of selecting the best work and bringing it to one convenient location.
