I think the biggest tourist traps are the art shops located in downtown areas, especially the ones in hotel lobbies. It’s better to stick to the ones along roadsides or weekend market stands where you can bargain and trade. This photo is of Damson, a young artist we found in a small village outside of Harare. He could draw the Walt Disney characters better than many formally trained artists and could carved amazing looking animals from a simple piece of wood. Many of his pictures are hanging in my office; they always make me think of Zimbabwe.

Elicopter

Our elicopter stay too much height for a better view on the falls. With 20 US$ you can see the Victoria falls from the ground or doing rafting you can see from bottom the last part of the falls.

Make sure you shop around and see if you can get a better deal. Everyone in Zimbabwe seemed willing to go down on their prices from taxi drivers and tour operators to people selling crafts.
