BLEND BLEND BLEND!! Don’t flaunt your nationality, especially if you’re an American, by wearing t-shirts with team names, etc. Don't wear expensive looking items or carry expensive looking backpacks. Don’t leave maps and guidebooks sitting on the seats in your car; keep everything in the trunk. Don’t say you’re a photographer, missionary, or with any organization-When asked-just say you’re on a pleasure trip. Don't EVER take pictures of government buildings! Don't take pictures of people unless you ask. Don't walk or drive on the street where President's Maguabe lives, after 6pm, there are soldiers that will shoot at will.
