BLEND BLEND BLEND!! Don’t...

BLEND BLEND BLEND!! Don’t flaunt your nationality, especially if you’re an American, by wearing t-shirts with team names, etc. Don't wear expensive looking items or carry expensive looking backpacks. Don’t leave maps and guidebooks sitting on the seats in your car; keep everything in the trunk. Don’t say you’re a photographer, missionary, or with any organization-When asked-just say you’re on a pleasure trip. Don't EVER take pictures of government buildings! Don't take pictures of people unless you ask. Don't walk or drive on the street where President's Maguabe lives, after 6pm, there are soldiers that will shoot at will. By blending and being respectful, you'll meet lots of locals that will share much about themselves over a game of cards. (Clinic nurses & Stan)

Four-legged Campers

by tini58de

When camping, watch the four-legged guests!!! They are all around and they might mess up your tent and belongings while searching for something eatable.

If you are camping like we did, watch the baboons raiding anything for food - including tents if you are stupid enough to leave food in them! They can be vicious and more especially to females.

Visas: Being from South Africa, we did not need any visas but I know other countries do need visas. We also went to Livingstone (Zambia) for a day and again no visas needed.
