by air- some journalists often take a ride on american military helicopters and airplanes flying out of bagram air base... however, seats are never a sureity. besides, you run the chance of bieng asked to vacate your seat at the last minute in favour of an official who may need a seat.
UN flights are frightfully expensive to get a ride on.
