Favorite thing: As soon as i crossed the border into Afghanistan and met the people there, all my fears went away. I was welcomed and offered Tea and food at the small street side restaurants. The people speak mainly two national languages Pashto and Farsi (Persian) but as most of them have lived & worked in Pakistan thats how they know a bit of Urdu as well.
Fondest memory: Having lunch with Afghan drivers and talking to them and this waiter boy in the picture.
