Looks like these are winners!!!!!!!!

Archery is a sport which the locals are very passionate about. There are ranges all over Bhutan, and even each Dzong has an area set aside for a field of target.
The competitions are colourful and noisy, the team members howl, chant, dance and in general make a 'big song and dance'. The target is placed 140m away from the archer, (the olympic standard is 50m).
The traditional archery equipment is a long bamboo bow, but most archers nowadays use a state-of-the-art carboite Hoyt brand bow.
The archers here are in the traditional dress of men, the Gho.
So if you get a chance, make sure you visit one of these picturesque and colourful events.

Equipment: Traditional bamboo bow. or

State of the art carbonite bow with a pulley system that released the bows at a incredible speed.
